The first ball thrown at the opening of the Fenway Park in 1912 is estimated to be worth $30000 to $50000. The ticket from the same game is estimated to fetch around $6000 which was initially sold for $4. A 1986 Red Sox championship ring belonging to Bill Buckner is estimated at around twenty to thirty Grand. The bat that was signed by Babe Ruth in 1920 is able to fetch a quarter of a million dollar. It was used in the game between Yankees and Chicago White Sox. It is just not an ordinary bat but comes with a criminal history. No it wasn’t used to kill someone but instead it was signed for the infamous mayor William Thompson of Chicago, who allegedly had links with the underworld boss ‘Al Capone’.
